Native to many Midwestern states, this unlikely relative to the carrot was used by the Native Americans as an antidote for rattle snake bites. Rattlesnake master gets it's scientific name from the yucca plant because it bears a close resemblance.

Ragweed is an early invader of disturbed land causing great suffering in the fall for people with seasonal allergies. It is native to North America.

Red Clover Trifolium Pratense

Red clover is a member of the bean family and is an important plant used for hay and pasture for adding nitrogen to the soil. It is native to Europe, parts of Asia and North Africa.
